Brad White joined the Illinois Education Research Council in 2004 as a researcher and became Senior Researcher in 2008. He spent three years with the Consortium for Policy Research in Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At CPRE, Brad worked on the Teacher Compensation project, studying the impact of performance-based pay and the relationship between teacher evaluation scores and student achievement. Previously, he was a school improvement consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and an intern with the Hudson Institute in Washington, D.C. Brad received a B.S. in Cognitive Studies from Vanderbilt University in 1998, spending one year at the University of Cambridge, England. He earned a Master's degree in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001.
