Brenda K. Klostermann joined the Illinois
Education Research Council as a Senior Researcher in June 2002 and became
Assistant Director in August 2004, and Assistant Research Professor
in 2006. As of September 1, 2007 she is Acting Director of the IERC.
Her expertise is in project management and program evaluation research,
in which she has conducted a number of studies within the education
arena. Her experience includes working with small and large school systems,
including the Cincinnati Public Schools. She also has research interests
and experience with qualitative data methods and analyses. She is a
life long resident of Illinois, except for her five years spent in Cincinnati,
Ohio.
Dr. Klostermann earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Computer Science from Quincy University in 1987, a master’s degree and doctorate in Applied Experimental Psychology with a Program Evaluation emphasis from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1990 and 1995, respectively. |
