Jacqueline Twitty is the Secretary for the Illinois Education Research Council. She came to the Council in November 2000. She grew up in England but in 1984 she moved to Illinois where she studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received her bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety Studies in 1992. Previous work experience includes educational projects at the Open University, Milton Keynes, England; and as a contractor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where she coordinated and participated in training programs. With a background in computing, research, and education, she brings well-rounded support to the Council.
